Empowering the next generation for a secure future

Hey there, future money masters! Did you know that learning how to handle money is just as important as your schoolwork? Learning about money can truly change your life. Being money-smart helps you build confidence, take responsibility, and gain independence, and the good news is that learning about money doesn’t have to be boring.

I am starting financial literacy clubs in schools where children can learn through fun activities such as debates, discussions, and even money fairs. Learners will get the chance to compete by creating business plans, and the best ideas may even be sponsored by local businesses. Being smart with money helps young people plan for exciting opportunities in their future.

In Zambia and many other places, many young people have limited knowledge about financial matters such as saving and budgeting. This is where financial literacy comes in, offering a practical and engaging way to learn how to make smart financial decisions. I am passionate about teaching young people how to be money-smart, which is why I run a page called “Financial Literacy with Lyaka” and visit schools to help spread financial knowledge.

Our goal is to help you become a money genius, ready to take on the world. By learning how to manage money early in life, you are setting yourself up for a bright and successful future. Just as education opens doors to success, financial literacy is your key to financial freedom and confidence in managing your money.

Budgeting: Making a plan for how to use money helps track income and spending.
Saving: Saving a small amount regularly builds financial security over time.
Investing: Understanding compound interest helps money grow.
